American Craft Beer Festival-Wrap Up
Our afternoon session of the American Craft Beer Festival has come and gone. I had 29 bees from about 20 brewers. The whole event was fantastic. Though the line to get in was long it moved fairly well, as did the lines at the various booths. Everyone was friendly, polite, and respectful, despite the staggering amount of free flowing alcohol. On our way into the event one of the organizers mentioned they had 4,000 attendees last night and only 1 ejection. Pretty fantastic numbers, the folks of Beer Advocate, the weekly dig, harpoon, and all those involved with the American Craft Beer Festival should be proud of the excellent event they put on.
My favorite beer’s of the event:
Though the Stone Cali-Belgique IPA & The Long Trail Brewmaster Series Double IPA may not have been the ‘best’ beer’s there they were Ideal on a nice summer beer drinking day.
Honorable Mentions: I would be remiss if I didn’t give a shout-out too Long Trail Pollenator, Left Hand Milk Stout, Ommegang Three Philosophers, and the Duck-Rabbit Brown Ale. 4 very great beers!
